Air Handlers

A heat pump system or cooling only system has two main components. The first component is the outdoor unit, either a heat pump or an air conditioner. The second component is the indoor unit, called an air handler. Its job, quite simply, is to circulate conditioned air throughout your home. The air handler makes a tremendous contribution to the overall efficiency and comfort of your system. With a very efficient air handler, the compressor in your outdoor unit doesn't have to work as hard to achieve the desired temperature. And the quicker the desired temperature is reached, less energy is used and more money is saved.

Air Conditioning Solutions

Many projects offer significant challenges in installing home comfort systems. It may be a home heated by hot water or steam with very little or no room for ductwork, or it may be a home addition that exceeds the capacity of the existing system. Why care about 0.3 micron Particles?

Airborne particles that measure 0.3 microns are the most difficult to capture and have the best chance of being inhaled. These particles include pet dander, fungi, and bacteria. Although these pollutant particles are so small that you can't see them, many are annoying or even harmful to you and your family, and potentially damaging to your furnace, air conditioner and related equipment. The standard throwaway filter or electrostatic filter in your furnace traps only about 15% of the pollutant particles in your home's air. The rest circulates throughout your home.
